Hello it’s been sometime since I’ve been on the website. I have been
Writing to FMS yes since I haven’t received my two outstanding orders. I got a response from them on the CV axles that the pins tend to slide out of. I will try to post this so the other people here that have the FJ 40 Atlas Michigan and so forth will be able to see that one of the members is actually trying to help now I’m sorry that’s me. Everybody take care and keep wrenching

and running.

I own an fms product so I'll be watching this thread. It's not related to the products you are sending them questions about, but I am still interested in how they work with you to resolve this.

Who know’s, If they use a different method for securing the (smaller) CV pins, not sure if owners of the other big (over 1/10scale) besides the FJ40 & Atlas are also having CV pins
sliding out of place??
Please, owners of the other big (1/10) vehicles reply to me here,
Hopefully I was able to move mountains, hopefully that manufacturing defect will soon disappear!!!!
You guys keep me posted here, and I will post what I receive messages pertaining to the issue at hand
Thanks very much,
Big Baja

It's something that means a lot with any company. My experience with the Redcat warranty dept. was a 5 star experience btw. Hope yours is as good with Fms.
Glad for you with Redcat!!!
I bought an all wheel drive buggy manufactured by Redcat about 10-12 years ago, the main thing that caught my attention was (1) The price and (2) the fact that it was all wheel drive.
Upon very close inspection, I noted most plastic chassis parts were made of a LESS bendable plastic material, noting the plastic parts were also thinner!!! I haven’t bought
a Red Cat product since, but seeing
How popular they have become leads me to believe they have upgraded their quality.

I own 2 from them. The ascent 18 crawler which is still mostly stock being a very capable rig right out the box. Wheels, tires, and brass diff covers are the only upgrades I have made.
Also the rds builders kit I have yet to drive, but quality plastics, and carbon fiber in the chassis. Combined with awesome customer service.
