Hey All;
So I am a baaaad boy. lol So I was all set to buy 1/16th Slash rims and tires and a body and run them on the1/16th MERV chassis. As I was starting to aquire the goods I ran across a whole rig on ebay. It was listed cheep and was only a 24 hour listing. All his feedback on ebay was excellent as well so I watched and waited. I got the last word and scooped this NIB rig for a real nice price. SCOOOPED!!!!!! Well after an email or 2 and a change in shipper plans it finally arrived. He lost the body so he went out and got a replacement for it. It is a Traxxas prografix you add the last color type. So I just painted it my blue. LHS has a JConcepts Mini Truth lid on order for me.Tossed on some deans plugs and my FM recv. and I am ready to go. Here are a few pic for your eyecandy consumption. Enjoy.l8r,w.

Nice score wrench!

So, what do you honestly think of the Traxxas 1/16th? Not that I want one personally, but I'm just curious since I haven't handled one yet...

And also kind of wondering, where did you happen to get the little american flag folded ribbon sticker that is on the back?

Scored a new lid for the Mini Slash and some Traxxas Alloy pushrods and turnbuckles and hex drives.I went with the JConcepts Truth lid and will be painting it up today. Stay tuned for the grand unvailing soon.

Looking good WrenchHead. By the way, what pit mat is that in your picture - the black one?

I like it! The truth looks great on there.

Hey All; Well I have a second set of rims that I was going to slap on the Merv but didn't. So I decided to try something different. I painted the rims with clear blue paint, then dull coat cleared them. Then went and tipped all the bolts in silver. Wanted a brushed anodized look. Here are the finished results. Enjoy.l8r,w.

I think those wheels are the finishing touch on that thing.

It looks very realistic, and I like it!

that looks great! does the body seem to be stronger on the rear mounts? I know thats a weak point on the stock body.

That is the best pit mat money can buy. It is from COWRC.com and is called the Screw Catcher. They have them from Mini to Super HUGE. I have a Micro Moo Matt and a Mini Moo Matt. They are magnetic so the screws you drop simply stop where they hit. Well except for alluminum but the side rails catch those. Drop over there and tell Heath I sent you. Great products and good peeps.

Seems to be a little thicker right around that mount area. You can always add a layer of lexan glued to the inside to beef it up. I do it in easily ripped areas and body post holes mount areas.

Thanks guys I am glad how it turned out. :D
