Wow, What a Deal.....

Realistically though, in my opinion, the people that really know how to sale rc stuff, are the people that are on the forums nearly everyday. Everyone else tends to think what they have into it is what its worth or in some cases that it actually appreciates in value.....which obviously neither are true.

It comes with EVERYTHING you need.
I guess that means it includes enough alcohol to make you stupid enough to think you got a good deal.

1/16 4WD Mini E-revo Upgraded, EVERYTHING you need!......Except a price that is based on reality. Dream on![SIGN]I need the money to pay my LoanShark![/SIGN]

Most RC stuff depreciates by 50% by just opening the box.

In the past that has generally been my rule of thumb but I'm not even sure if it's realistic anymore to ask for 50%. IMO 50% is a fair sale price if the product in question is in VERY good condition. Selling anything the last couple years has been a struggle so it's hard to say what is fair. There is no Blue Book on r/c stuff unfortunately.

It baffles me what people think stuff is worth, it really does. I too used to use the 50% rule of thumb, but I even gave up on that because as mentioned above the economy is crap, and RC cars are just hard items to sell. These days, I simply price it to move if I have / want to sell it. The last two rigs I've sold, I priced super cheap because they were going to friends. I'd much rather see them being enjoyed than sitting around, and knowing a buddy is enjoying them makes it that much better.

That's why I say "when in doubt, part it out". In other words, it's foolish to sell a whole truck with extra stuff. He'd get 2-300 if he parted it out

Most? What R/C doesn't depreciate the moment you take it out of the box?

Obviously the seller on ebay was smoking something when he posted it.

With that being said, I NEVER would buy any used r/c that's more than the price of new. I don't care what upgrades were done. Most of the time these people do things to "trick out" their stuff with integy parts and so on.. Nobody will EVER get back what they have invested into their hobby. To me, it's like buying a real car.. looks can be deceiving.

Oh by all means, nothing wrong with that stuff, it's just funny to see someone spend hundreds of dollars and not replace the stock motor.

That Mini eRevo is a steal at $750. NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This guy must be on crack or related to the departed qaart.....

So does that mean that Rolex's Savage isn't worth like $10K LOL!!!!! I mean it is in better then new condition has countless coats of wax on it and does not even have a minute of time on the motor and only has how ever many minutes he has spent pushing it around on his Egyptian cotton sheets on the rest of it, LOL!!!!

$10K???? More like $.10. It's going to take days to strip off all of the wax so that the suspension won't be overloaded and it can move......
