worst day ever

today was offically my worst rc day ever 10:30am all batteries charged 3 reciever packs 2 transmitter packs. 10:45 spill half a gallon of odonell i got yestday (saturday) 11 go outside start first car my bro's rs4 3 blows a rod (grrrrrr at least I'm not paying for it hehe ) 11:15 start up my rs4 3 runs good cops come noise violation my @!$ it was 11:15 oh well so i put away my rs4 3 12 pm start the rc10gt how some fun ripping up the street hitting some jumps good fun until i crack my gas tank (called 3 lhs's nobody has it grrrrr ) dont ask how if i knew i would have told you 12:30 gotta get the gas out of my rs4's tank
i swallow about a mouthful yummy i had to induce vomiting (yey my favorite )
so here i am 1:01 pissed about my wonderful day

Man sounds like u had a hard time, i think every one has horrible days in this hobby where every thing is skrewing up on them. I know i have and it snot fun when it happens. I hope when u go out the next time u get a little more relief from all the horrors of the hobby. Good luck!

I HATE days like that... One time, back in Pittsburgh, it was going to be my first race, when I entered 3 races ($15....) The first two races my pipe came off, i was disqualified cuz i had to fix it... THEN the next race I was having glitching problems and i didnt want to have to pay for more damage so i was disqualified again. SO I was out 15 bucks by the end of the day and i didnt even get to race. what a miserable day that was.

wow I thought I was the only one having a bad weekend of RCing.....I went to the track last nite....first I had to gut my OFNA and mount my radio gear and engine in the X-ray.....started doing this at midnite fri......sat: I need to go to the LHS for servo horns, I get to the track and finish doing all the fine adjustments on my radio, mounting the linkages and what not.....start it up and engine goes WOT....I plug pipe.....OK it looks like my batt pack is bad....I take the new one I decided last minute to buy at LHS today still in pack...I charge it up for first time on quick charge....wait an hour and then put it in...buggy does same thing as before.....crap....start looking and find I routed the servo wire Wrong and the brake is cutting it in half.....I fix the wire (half assed fix).....and startit up again.....now my Tx batteries are dead.....and the new pack won't plug into my switch.....and I let it run down while I'm futzin w/ everything else.....I give up for the night.....go today to another track....first thing my hi-tec digital throttle servo is now crap...I luckily had my truck so I raped it for a servo and then had to make a throttle horn cause the one I bought was not compatible....then I get it started and all my radio settings were wiped out by some kid futzin w/ it while I wasn't looking....and I need to reset all that stuff.......I got to run for about 2 hours after wrenching all weekend....I got back a lil while ago and played your stress releif game for the last hour...I feel better now.....but I still have to clean everything...

I had a rough race weekend as well, although it got better

1st Heat = killed a glow plug
2nd Heat = Car would not run longer 20 secs...yeah, the fuel line that runs from the tank to my muffler got stuck in my flywheel.
3rd Heat = Everything running fine had a great race and made it to the A-Main!
A-Main = 6th overall after being knocked off the track and a turn marshall standing there ignoring my car All in all, it was a fun day of racing and my 2nd race on offroad..I am totally hooked

yesterday my savage ran great, just like a savage should. however i blew up 3rd gear in my corrado's transmission at the same time i seized either my waterpump or powersteering pump. thats a $2000+ bad day. the gearset alone is $1800 :-(
