I've been putting it off, but I don't want to anymore.

I realize this is a personal preference thing but any help would be cool.

I need a good work station or work space mat where I can work on my RCs. If you could point me to someplace that has a very good mat I would appreciate it.

Traxxas has a really good pit mat. Rubber I believe. Me personally with my pit space at the track and at home on a folding table, I use protek/Proline pit mats.

Cow RC also has some good mats as well. Thinking about checking them out soon.

I have a Cow Performance magnetic RC work mat. Large stealth black 19x24 size. Big enough for a Kraton 6s & Infraction 6s. Well worth it. They also have white. I got the flames decal. I got back in December & used a coupon code to get it cheaper. He posts the codes on social media. I don't have FB, so I emailed him, & he emailed me back the code. I was using foam packaging sheet & wanted magnetic. Really great product.

Cheapest bet would be a Yoga mat in your favorite hue from Amazon, or Wally World IMO, and simply cut to fit your specific work area.. The RC dedicated mats are all in sizes that are just shy, or just big of what ya want it always seems like to me lol..

That being said, I use an overpriced JConcepts mat, and also have a large(ish) plastic tray from ECO Power as well. Then I use some small mag trays from Tekin (they were free, because the Campbell’s are just plain awesome folks, and tossed em in amongst other things with my order), but you can get no name small mag trays from “The Freight” on the cheap..

The one I have is silicone, so no worries with melting from solder drips or a dropped iron. It has lots of molded bins along the edge as well as a few embedded magnets to hold on to ferrous hardware.

Do they still make those? I doubt I can find one locally. 🤣
My little town puts out a free monthly paper that gets sent to all the homes in town.
Also, there's a state outdoors sportsman paper that you can get for free at various places throughout the state.
I keep these news prints as they make good charcoal starter.

.....and rc mats 😆
