i finally got my evo started and did the first 2 tanks of letting the engine idle but now it wont move! what could be the problem?

Check the clutch bell and spur gear to see if one or the other is stripped, also check the clutch shoes to see if there is any damage there, could be a number of reasons for the car not moving, but I'd say the one's I mentioned would be a good place to start.

I am not sure if this is the HPI kit. If so is this a rtr? Try checking the gear mesh. even though you got a "rtr" check out the car prior to running. Remember the people who bought the savage that had the back plates come out due the wrong screw used to tighten them down? THey were hatin life after they found that out too late. Also check your battery voltage on your receiver pack. That may also be the culprit

Fridge it would a little bit more helpful to know the symptoms here. I mean you say the car is idling just fine right?? Ok so does it die when you give it more throttle?? If so your mixture is set too rich. Lean it out 1/4 turns at at a time to find out. Are you able to raise the idle no problem to full throttle and it doesn't move this is a whole other ball game all together?? Throw us some hints so we can help ya man.
