ACNCM bulks weren't bad. Very industrial finish and heavy, but definitely tough. I highly suggest fully drilling and tapping the holes though. I bottomed out a screw or two and snapped a bolt off in the bulks. I never bent one, but I did wear some out at the hinge pin holes. Eventually, the bolts that hold the skid plates on stripped out due to having to take the front/rear end apart all the time to work on the drive train since it was a maxx.

From a strength standpoint, go with GA's 7075 bulk set. A friend of mine bought those and they were a nice looking set of bulks. And tough as nails. They use heli-coils for the threads instead of just tapping the aluminum. Extra tough stuff.

If your looking for cheap and solid, ACNCM will get it done. If you want long life, strength and good looks, go with GA's 7075.

Yes and no. You usually use Helis as a repair. Like if you stripped a bolt hole, you use the drill and special size tap the provide. Then you can run the helicoil in. Now you have a "new" threaded hole!

here's my opinion on these setups and I know I've said it before but try and let it sink in.....

diff cup = 40 pr
ring gear = 80 pr
alum diff case = 50 pr
bulkheads = 75 pr
total 245

and you still have small diff rings that can't take serious bashing abuse no matter how bad ass RRP says they are ...you can't change diff fluids and tune your trucks traction....

or 150 for bulkless setup that holds 1/8 scale diffs and don't FLEX like the standard setup does

and 80 for the 2 7.5 diff setups you can tune and you won't have to worry about.....
total 230
15 dollars cheaper to make your rig a tank...and trust me it does make the thing alot stiffer where it needs to be....no diff flex at all
simple design and makes your rig tough as a tank.....
