Build Thread Willy’s 2nd Scx24

Whats up
Ok, starting on this next scx24, at the moment a working progress, short wheel base, with c10 rear links, and deadbolt front links. At the start it is 122mm wheel base, which is identical to the enduro24 weird but true. This may take a little to do, but will post as I build.
With this chassis, drive shafts will need trimming, also stealing the flat skid for the first build. As a Willy goes thing will change

Did some shaving on the chassis, I didn’t like all the pointed corners on the bottom, and also for now tried heating and bending the stock plastic deadbolt links for clearance in the rear and still keeping the 122mm wheel base.

Lol, my motor and esc I ordered was lost in transit wth, I thought it was taking too long, they refunded me, so for now, 1/10 electronics from the Everest10. . So I tucked everything up the best I could, and maybe looking at switching my options of the usual furitek setup I see a lot of, to something else, maybe try the new roverin package. If available, I don’t know, but going different direction now that I’m not getting that setup. Honestly I can’t wait to see how it does with the enduro stock motor and Everest10 esc and reciever. This thing right now is a true frankenstein build for sure.
Front injora deadbolt links, melted a bend, deadbolt rear links, stock shocks with flexblades, Everest10 esc and reciever, changing out stock tires today, injora .3 mod transmission, metal rear driveshaft, plastic front deadbolt driveshaft, and emax sevo. I should ask yep24 if he would roast this rig.

Right now the back of the body needs secured more but can run like this, you just can’t pick up from the body yet.

Gonna need to be right on the money with the 60/40 split with the wt front to back and pretty even on the sides also. She gonna be top heavy, and now if it ever stops raining I need to make it perform. But I think it can keep up as is at the moment.

If it’s in the bank maybe 10 or more these little things are just crazy easy to find bodies for on the cheap, literally buying them at goodwill for $1.50,
Thinking about making bodies and selling them. Just to make it cheaper and easier for everyone. And also feed my rc addiction then I can get more of all rc’s, looking into the drifting scene at the moment, and seen guys highering and lowering the cars with servos, may implement that into a crawler, so yes thank you @Doom! and don’t forget @WickedFog, @majin, thats just the top three, really everyone that has one posted in here of a scx24 influences a spark in the brain
