Sup everyone! This is a short question but very important. Will a Losi Sport Mach 26ss http://hobbyhobby.com/store/product/254173/M26SS-w--PS-SG/
fit in this Kyosho inferno us sportshttp://hobbyhobby.com/store/product/270002/1-8-GP-4WD-R-S-INFERNO-US-SPORTS-W-GXR28/ This buggy have a .28 engine and i think the engine above is a .26 engine. So will it fit or no? if not whats a very good engine for speed under $130?

It will work fine. Anything .21 and above is big block, .20 and below is small block. You have a big block. Hell, bolt in a .32 if that is what you'd like.

Yep, will fit. For less than $130... that's about as good as your going to get I think. Not a bad engine at all really. Ran one for a short stint in my aftershock. It probably won't have the torque of a .28, but it should have more RPM's.

Thanks! so that means it will be faster? if so how much MPH will it get it up to and is it better that the gxr28?

Don't have a clue as to either. Speed is always relative to tuning ability, surface your running on, gearing, engine, fuel... MPH can only be estimated by someone that can do the gearing math. I'm not that guy. ;)

Heck, you may be able to speed it up with the engine you have by getting a larger clutch bell. Adding a tooth or two would increase speed if the engine can pull it.

That's the old school way of telling engine size. I don't know how they do it any more but a 21 can be a mid block or a big block. A picco 26 is a mid block as well. May of them have different bolt patterns, exhaust port sizes and overall block sizes too.

lol thanks =) I'm not a math guy either lol :D this is not my buggy, its my uncle's, the problem with the engine is that it wont prime. I got 3 tanks through it and now it wont prime. Also, this engine when first bought wasn't broken in and was running VERY VERY lean. So I'm gonna convince him to buy a new engine =):D
