Why does this cost so much?!

I paid more than that for my Fioroni air filter.

thats because its made my Fioroni...

you think its worth the money for the rb set?

Personally, I would just get the Motor Saver set-up.

However, the price for the RB (at A-Main) is only tad more with the similar Motor Saver set-up and extra inner foams.

That's the philosophy I follow.

motor saver = bad filters.

Did more damage to my engines than good. Ask around, very few people STILL use motor savers. They have adopted the nickname of motor wreckers.

I guess I am one of the select few who still use motor savers in all my cars. They haven't failed or wrecked any of my engines yet. I do change the foams on a regular basis.

Please elaborate.

BTW, I checked their website and didn't see any mention of them adopting a nickname.

Wow In the years I have been running RCs I have never herd of such a thing...Ask around you say?
Over 6,000 members here and not a word from one of them...I guess we have all been left in the dark.....

Will you please Back up your facts?
I need facts on this....Or I am going to have to shoot this out of the water:stickup:

The one time I thought the MS filters were bad, is when those caps kept popping off... But they fixed that issue. No complaints here. BTW, I run em on all 5 R/Cs I have...

Add another idiot to the list that still uses motor saver filters, I would smarten up and switch but they perform well and I have never had a problem with them:shrug:

another reason why this item cost so much is because the guy has a best offer option. Most of these sellers that use the best offer option jack up the price then come down when offered the right amount. an example of that is user "ichobby" if you look at his auctions they are out of site priced. he tries to sell Crimefighter MT tires for something like $69.99 but if you offer him $30-$35.00 he will take it.

I also use Motor saver filters on my RC's.

I'm not defending or crapping on anyone, but the cap popping off caused me a piston and sleeve on a new mill.
I saw something fly out and brought the truck in, dirt in the engine.

I think that they have fixed this issue since.

Same thing happened to me ratzo. Busted the engine in my rc10gt. I only use a filter that has a screw to hold in the end cap now!

Motor Saver did have an issue with the big block units. If you search this site you will see that they recognized the issue, fixed it, and offered free replacements to people that had the old style.

You have to use what your comfortable with. I like the Motor Savers and use them.

Motor savers work much better when you don't land on them. Run a body on your r/c and 99% of the cap problem is solved.
