Thanks man. This is the second set I bought. They are spendy but they look great.
I actually waited for these to come back in stock for almost a year I think it was.
On my other Baja I have green hub nuts but these will remain the polished aluminum.

Those are awesome wheels. More info, I want some lol!
These came in the mail yesterday. New stock take-offs with bearings for the Kraton/Beetle, all 4 corners are beat to poop. $26 on eBay. I was going to go with alloy but these were a steal. I'll keep the old ones in case of breakage while out in the dirt. I'm a big fan of keeping spare parts around, even used ones.

I just finished a print I found on Thingiverse for the C10. I don't normally print other people's designs, but this one is pretty good. Still gotta clean it up and paint it.

@Tunedpipe Are you still collecting parts for the build, or do you have everything now?
I just buy a part or two every payday which is only once a month. I'll be ordering my 45cc engine on the 27th of this month.

@WickedFog Just a trim, he says to the barber. 🤣
I know, I know. But I saw that rear cage and just had to do it. Now I think it will be ok to cut the front up and not have any remorse at all for doing it 😉

I think I am scuffing up the outside and painting it too.

I got the beetle hub carriers changed, now to clean up the sloppy steering linkage.

I had this old Team Associated in my pile without really looking at it at all. >>>Thanks to the guys on this forum who identified it for me I found parts are plentiful and inexpensive. Thanks again!
This should make a good drift car. I know nothing about drift so this will be fun!
I got a protoform '71 trans-am body, 4 new foam tires for outside and 4 "amazon specials" for shocks. I better go hit them up again for 4 plastic tires/wheels for indoor.
I have a few various, unknown motor mounts, brushed motors and escs lying around. It's time to spinweld a motor mount into it then fab some kind of simple servo mount.

Got a little more done on Carnage (my son liked that name). Got a stand printed for it, a front rock bar, and a hood scoop to cover the old hood pin holes.

Got an early start on upgrading the Rustler day basher today. Did the install on a pair of RPM 5x11mm FR bearing carriers. A quickie. While about it, swapped out the 3x12mm round head screws for 3x12mm flat heads. Like the self-centering taper on the flat head for positive location of turnbuckles.

Inner races on the 5x11 bearings must be a tad wider than the 5x8's. Had to dispense with the thin TFE washer spec'd by TRX to get the hex pin through the axle.

Earlier in the week did the install of 5x11mm RPM RR stub axle carriers. That prompted the purchase of a pair for front's installed today. That about does it for upgrades to the day basher. Cheers. 'AC'

Hope you guys are feeling better!
Not 100% yet but better each day. I'm thrilled the covid tests were negative.
