This is why i never bid on anything. I always just buy it outright, because I've lost out at the last second way too many times in the past.

Not sure what you mean by first class. Budget isn't the issue, lack of value to me is. Buying a brand new one isn't a problem. I'd like to try out an E-revo and if I can get one at a discount great, if not oh well.

I set a budget for most things based on my own personal value of it. If I really wanted it, I would bought it out right. But getting the car for $500 shipped was appealing, plus bidding is part of the fun.

I'll most likely buy a kraton 8s exb outright, unless I find a Crack head deal for one .

I learned the hard way, be very careful of what you call crack head deals, as sometimes the stuff is stolen. I bought a truck last year on eBay, only for it to never show up because the seller got busted for theft. That was fun dealing with eBay and paypal and proving i never received it.

That is definitely a risk of buying and selling online. PayPal can be terrible to deal with sometimes too.

Yesterday, I had someone snipe an Xmaxx on me too.

There are a lot of people using browser addons to bid automatically in the last few seconds of an auction.

Auctions were ending all hours of the day and night, and I was getting tired of getting outbid in the last 30 seconds while being asleep. The sniper fixed that, because back then, I had kickass internet compared to most and I had it set to bid in the last 6 seconds.

It was a free Chrome addon. They have it for other browsers too.

I forgot about those. I rarely use an actual compute these days and forget there's none mobile browsers .

It had a few extras and looked to be in excellent shape (which can be misleading). Had it just been the truck, $400 would have been my cap.

Just put in your best bid every time, if you still get out bid, it is not yours to get anyway and be happy. If you get it below your best bid, you get a deal and be happy. If you just want it cheap, you are going to get out bid most of the time.
