one of my bashing buddys just traded his electric rustler for a nitro rustler. man this thing is quick!! its the 2.5 one.. so heres the deal.. i want something i can run with him with.. we both got monster trucks and i got a buggy he got a stadium truck but the st seems alot more fun.. i want something comparable to his rustler in speed but i would like something tougher (we brook a c hub a axle and EXPOLDED a tire on the first day we played with it) i was looking at the hpi mt or mt 2 but there expencive and only have a .15 on them.. any sugestions?? anyone got one they wanna sell?? thanks for your time

I think you would have fun if you got a nitro rustler. They are fast, and only have a few weak spots that are easily replacable. There are so many choices, that it is hard to choose. I started out with an older rc10gt, and i never thought that it would turn out like it is now, 4 years later. The nitro rustler is a good truck, and with the 2.5 it has, it hauls ass! You would need a low profile head, like a nova head or something, because the stock head is a problem... The rear bulkhead and shock tower along with the plastic shocks are weak points if you are jumping. Also, the rear arm mounts and hingepins are kinda flimsy, but it is a good truck to bash with.

well i have for sale or trade cen fun factor 2 rtr it only has 2 tanks threw it and i have all the manuals and the box pm me if interased thanks curtis

rustler would be more fun due to the power, and it is already pretty durable for a st.

I Would Go For The Mt Or Mt 2 With The .15. Plus The 2.5 On The Rustler Is Actually A .15. Notice Where The Dots Are In The Numbers. The 2.5 Means 2.5 Cubic Centimeters. And .15 Means .15 Cubic Inches, Which Is Really The Important Number. The Mt's Would Be A Whole Lot Easier To Control Because Of 4x4. And You Will Have Nothing But Problems With The 2.5 On The Rustler Later. Also, If You're Looking For A Truck That Is Inexpensive And Very Reliable, Look Into Buying A Traxxas Nitro Sport Rustler. This Truck Has The Original .15 Engine On It, I Have This Engine On My Nitro Rustler And The Thing Is Four Years Old With Original Engine And It Smokes The New One If Geared Right.

The Traxxas Jato is supposed to be real quick... You could also look at the Losi XXXNT..

IMO - If I were buying ST's again - Jato if you want 2wd, MT2 if you want 4wd. The truck is awesome! If you have the time and patience - the MT2 18SS would be the way to go :)

I have a three year old Nitro Rush RTR that I could sell you it is only 1 gallon through but it has some problems. I could sell it to you as is for about 130 with radio and reciever. But the only problem with it is it needs a new clutch bell and clutch spring, and a new stearing servo. And a new chassi the one I have is really old. It also needs a new front bumber and maybe even a new motor if you want a really fast car. But I will sell you the car for 130 dollars with the radio the reciever the car all my spare parts the original manuals for the radio and the car and the original stickers that came with it. Also it comes with a body but the body is kinda flymzy so you should probubly get a new one. But all in all it is a great deal for 130 dollars if you would like to buy it. Just reply and if you want me to i could send you some pics. THANKS FOR YOU TIME!!! GOOD LUCK!!!

Lucas... your best bet is to sell it on ebay. Most likely, noone is gonna want it on here. sorry to say it, but its true. I'm not even gonna try to sell my gt on here (ill put my auction up tho).

MT2 SS if you like kits and 4wd, go Jato if you like a 2wd rocket. Jato also has a 2 speed, but then again, the truck comes with the terrible 2.5. I have had the same bad luck with HPI engines as Traxxas, if not WORSE luck with the HPI engines.

My Brother Has Had A Great Time With His Hpi T 15 Engine. Only Hard Part Was Keeping It Running During Break In. Once You Get Past Break In Its A Great Engine.

What is so bad about the 2.5? All of the ones i had, or have tuned for my friends have been reliable. The t-maxx is bad because the head is cast and not machined. If you just change the head, it will run fine!

The composite carb. When I had the T15, it was always running like crap, or it never ran at all. Finally, it threw its conrod thru the crankcase. My HPI .15 Nitrostar SS just crapped out on me too, needs a 3rd rebuild, it NEVER got thru 3 gallons and it was broken in perfectly. Now we have 2 SS and 2 T15 necklaces. My buddy and I vowed to never buy an HPI engine again, hence why I am running nothing but OS now ;)

if you are still looking I have a pretty nice nMT that I am thinking about selling all servos included just no radio, I just got a savage and will prolly not use it anymore lemmie know if you are interested

I think the new AE RC10GT RTR's come with an OS .18 now. They are pretty durable and lots of after market upgrades available for it. If you're just bashing, I'd go for that or the rustler or wait for the Jato to hit the market.
