I am getting ready to buy my 2nd r c truck and i can't make up my mind on which to get. which do you guys think would be the fastest and which one is the best built ? the 2.5 Rustler or the RC 10 gt?:bandit:

look into a rc10gt plus it has almost all of the team trucks hop-ups and its also pretty darn fast. The stock engine isnt bad at all i was actaully suprised at the power it gave. Are you looking for a truck that will need little to no uprading or do you want somethign that you can enjoy hopping up. if your doing stictly bashing, the rustler is your ticket, however the gt can also take a beating and is race ready. You sure can hop a rustler up aswell though.

i was looking for something i didn't have to upgrade? unless i wanted to on down the line. i like the the power the rustler would put out but i think the r c 10 gt looks like its ready to race. I think I am starting to lean toward the r c 10 gt. thanks guys for the comments.

Ok if its only those two then hands down get the RC-10 GT. I mean the 2.5 is a bad mofo but lets be honest stadium trucks only need a good .12 and thats all they can handle they are so light. I highly suggest looking at the XXX-NT also. It is the best stadium truck out right now hands down. Look at Teamlosi.com and look at how they finished at the reedy nations which is AE race man they were filling all top ten spots with XXX-NT and that was at AE race. Now I am not tring to sound like and TL fan boy even though I love the XXX-Nt but unless all you want to do is drive in a strait line and do high speed passes leave the rusty alone and get the AE or the TL you won't be disapointed. Also another thing about the power issues pro races put carb restrictors in .12 motors so they can control them. These trucks are so light you don't need all the power of a 2.5 X

thanks i will check the xxx nt out to i just havent look that deep into them because my lhs didn't have them

When you say rc10gt are you looking at just the rc10gt or are you looking at the factory team truck to???

OK maxx I am glad you pointed that out. IF your lhs does not have Losi parts specifically XXX-NT parts and you do most of your buisness there. Then It is worth taking that into consideration espcially if he stocks a good supply of parts for the RC10GT. Now if you are like me and 4 worthless LHS with in 30 minutes and the only thing they ever have is fuel and piano wire then get what you want. I order almost all my parts online because I can get it quicker from Tower or Stormer than my lhs will get it for me. X

Ya i see your point. I have almost stopped doing buisness at my lhs because they suck. I do most of my shopping from tower too. thanks for the input guys.

A lot of people at my track have switched over from the ae to the losi. I just got the xxx-nt and it halls @$$. I can't wit to race it:)
