Warby, because people call me .......... Warby.

🤷‍♂️
More on that.

Australians frequently use diminutives, shortened forms of words, as nicknames. These are often created by taking the first part of a word or name and adding a suffix like "a", "o", "ie", za, or "y".

Warby is the informal nickname of my family. Most my family gets called it by friends, colleague, team mates and acquaintance.

My name is Robert Budzynski but I’ve been Bud for so long? People think my last name is Zynski. Why BudUMfan? It’s obvious.

I think mine is pretty obvious but it might not be to non car guys so I'll explain.

In the early 70's, General Motors ran an ad campaign featuring 'Mr Goodwrench'. The guy at a GM dealership that could fix anything that was wrong with your GM vehicle. I remember seeing those commercials when I was little and they stuck in my memory. I was raised in a heavily GM biased family as most all family members drove GM vehicles. I've spent the last 30 years fixing cars and at the age of 35, became GM world class certified and ASE Gold master certified.

GM has since dropped the Goodwrench moniker so I decided to 'carry the torch' so to speak. It's on my locker, my uniforms, my toolboxes, my email, and my gaming handle. It's what I'd prefer on my tombstone but my wife says no.
Be nice to her or you'll get a lovely blue Ford Oval! :hehe:

i see a lot of cool names on here, and I'm often curious what they mean. if its anime i probably know it but thats about it lol, then i see some names that i think i understand but I'm not positive. so i thought id ask?
if anyone wants to join in that'd be cool
my handle is
Majin. its from an anime dragonball z.
a majin is often refered to as an evil spirit in japanese language, but its broader meaning is something of supernatural origin,
theres a part in the show, where my guy Vegeta decides he wants to return to his evil ways to gain more power.
but then he realizes thats not as important to him as it used to be that his family is more important and he sacrifices himself for the chance to save them,
to me it epitomizes to me fatherhood.
heres a clip otherworld is what we would refer to as heaven

this made me change how i react to things and where i place my family in the scheme of things.
i named my son Vegeta to remind him that he is the strongest. that he is my pride., that i gave up my old ways for him to make sure he has a better father than i had ( i didnt have one, mom said I'm going to college he said good luck lol)
my name is pronounced mah jin
I'm tearing up just rewatching this scene lol
Very cool brother 😎

That’s so dope @majin. My son hooked me on anime when he was 12 and we watch it to this day. Crunchyroll subscriber! That scene is epic!
hells yeah, have you guys watched solo leveling? epic show

It’s on our list. Finished last season of “The time I was reincarnate as a Slime.” Demon Slayer. Chainsaw man. Oh we got a list and solo leveling is on it! PS. We watch it with subtitles @majin. I’d rather read it than hear it. The translation is bad. lol.

Willy0942
Willy is what I was always called since a kid, the last name Williams got me that.
And 0942 is just my work clock number, definitely at work when messing with any Rc. 😂 at least that is what I say, so people leave me alone to play,
I'm at work can’t talk. 😂
Willy, you sir are a genius!

Secret War: "Green Hornets"

To supply their forces in South Vietnam, the North Vietnamese-built a secret road system through neutral Laos and Cambodia. This-supply line, named the Truong Son Road but called the "Ho Chi Minh Trail" by Americans, consisted of a network of roads and hiding places concealed by jungle. In an effort to stop the communists' flow of supplies while appearing to respect Laotian and Cambodian neutrality, the United States secretly placed radar stations to guide air strikes and sent small reconnaissance teams of native personnel into Laos and Cambodia. Led by U.S. Army Special Forces personnel, those reconnaissance teams found targets for airstrikes and later assessed the damage. These cross-border or "over the fence" operations relied upon U.S. Air Force helicopters for transportation and resupply.

Covert reconnaissance operations into Laos, code named SHINING BRASS and later PRAIRIE FIRE, began in1965. Using the call sign Pony Express, Sikorsky CH-3 Jolly Green Giant helicopters from the 20th Helicopter Squadron (later-designated the 20th Special Operations Squadron) operated from Nakhon Phanom Royal Thai Air Force Base in support of these secret missions and the radar sites. Later, the squadron received BellUH-1F/P "Huey" helicopters to support the effort. The 20th's mission expanded as they started working closely with forward air controllers and other USAF aircraft in Laos to rescue downed American pilots.

In 1967 the U.S. expanded its secret reconnaissance operations into Cambodia under the code names DANIEL BOONE and later SALEM HOUSE. The 20th's UH-1s supported these operations using the call sign Green Hornet. During a Green Hornet mission on Nov. 26, 1968, Capt. James P. Fleming earned the Medal of Honor while rescuing a six-man reconnaissance team. The group rescued was code named "RT Chisel," and it was composed of Staff Sergeant Ancil “Sonny” Franks, Sergeant Charles Hughes, three Montagnards, and Captain Randolph Harrison (he was the new CCS Recon Company commander and there to learn ops). The Americans were SOG personnel (Green Berets) while the Montagnards were indigenous personnel that worked with SOG. All six were safely recovered during the operation.

I started as J’sCrawler because the scx24 was the very first thing I got.
J is my first initial
my name is khan GIF

I then took my favorite car (a Tekno) and there you go.
On the large scale forum I am @DirtyJ. I call my 30degree north 1/5 truck the Dirty 30.
It’s not terribly clever really.

Back in the day, prolly 5-6 years ago, I wanted to start a YT channel and I was gonna call it LJJ-RC (initials with RC) but my dad said it should call it Luke66 and have my logo be the Route 66 sign with my name on it. At first I was like ‘no’ but later I liked it more and it’s been my username on everything since. Still haven’t started that YouTube channel yet lol. Maybe soon….

Slacker! 🤣

The World and the Internet run on electricity.
Electricity is carried by electrons = a negative atomic particle.

I was getting sick of stories about online gaming trolls.
So in an effort to spread (+) Positive vibes, I chose the handle Positron.
An anti-matter electron atomic particle with a Positive charge.

Double negative = positive. My Logo reflects this as well.

But when I am gaming I still use my old gamertag. Some people get offended, but most get the joke.
My gaming name is 'Joe Momma'.
I had a friend who anytime someone would ask him 'What is Your name?' he would answer 'Joe'.
"Joe who?"
Joe Momma
It works out great because in games people call me Joe.

A little lesson on physics!

Mine came around from 1:1 racecar building.. I was always a big block kid growing up because they were cheap, then I started doing V8 s10’s, and while everyone else was doing stroker motors, I was getting after it with long rod small displacement SBC’s with lightweight rotating assemblies, and big solid rollers. People were always thinking my truck had a BBC in it because of the 4” hood, and exhaust note (not paying ANY attention to the RPM I was turning it to-8800+…🙄🤷🏻‍♂️), and those in the know would always correct them with-“nah, he runs a little motor in that thing..”… It just stuck, so my name on the forums quickly became Littlemotor obviously.. I’m still all over the 1:1 racecar forums with that monicker.. Stayed the same when I was into nasty 4wheelers, 1:1 mud trucks, and of course-RC.. I still have real life, in person friends that only know me as, or will only call me by that.. Or lil-mill, Lilmotah, Babymotor, etc… My RC “alter ego” is actually Mickey Primo, same as my Fakebook profile-where my born date was 4/20.. 🤷🏻‍♂️😜
