RC Driving Style
with the RCNT biohazard team sigs and avatars. Just wanted to say that they look cool as hell.

Patience. We're working out the details of the Team thing.

I think being a contriuting member should be at least a prerequisite. :contract:

I am sending a check tomorrow, tomorrow to be a contributor. You guys understood what I am talking about right, with the RCNT sigs and avatars. FastEddy PMd me telling me that I needed to be more specific in my threads. Dont know, sounds like yall understood it to me.

The concept is still being debated. I know yall are just biting at the bit to know the full story, but it hasn't all been hashed out yet. Don't worry, it'll be cool, but ya gotta have patience.

So theres a story behind it, didnt know that. I just thought one of you guys decided to do something like that. Anyway, it is a good idea and they are great looking. Maybe one day I will be worthy of one. :worship:

I did the logo just for shitz & giggles. It has kind of developed into a life of it's own now.

The point? It looks cool. Plus it'll get ya an instant ban on traxxass and another site. Like I said, the concept is still being worked out, but what it will not be is a "buy your way into it" kind of thing. Some things that will be offered are shirts, video blurbs to put in videos and sig templates. It kind of goes hand in hand with the DVD that was discussed in another thread also.

Good things take time.

What do you guys think being an RCNT Team member should be about?

Give us some ideas so we can see if we are headed in the right direction. Should being a TEAM MEMBER require "Making" the team, or should it be open for anyone who want to join? Lets hear some ideas.

Again this is just friendly banter and the exchange of ideas and will not include a "Buy In" to the team.

on i forum i used to frequent very often a few months back when i played paintball like crazy and was into it for a loong time. They had this thing called Supporting member and if you made it there was a special forum only those member could see but I'm thinking not to have that but you can get a Team sign instead. What they did was you said you wanted to be one and you had to have had like 1000 posts or somthing like that and then 2 of the Admins had to give you the OK and you became a supporting member if you Admins/Mods want to check it out itsPaintball Forum and the application thing is in the lounge..

I personally think there should be a requirements, otherwise anyone would randomly join, and if they didnt know Photoshop they'd work poor error to death, lol.

I mean, This is prolly gonna hurt my chances of getting if if it actually makes it to the final stages but, videos, pictures, type of person you are, who you are around the forum. Basically how good you are with RCs and how you are with others around the forum. Maybe a slected few could already ahve there place int his "Team"a nd vote on people whom are nominated.

Maybe even a special area for team members on the forum, this is just me throwing around some ideas.

Also, hooking each other up. The main word in this is Team. I think hooking each other up with parts and other things would be good. Example: Wasteland- I need a clutchbell for my GS Storm. Error- I got one you can have man, I will send it to ya. Hey that saves your boy 11 bucks. Or setting up a date, like the bashes you guys have. That way people that can come, exchange parts, tips and other stuff in person. I know I have learned alot of things from being on this sight, but I would like the hands on stuff from experienced people like you guys. Maybe if your set up to race, represent RCNT on your ride and where t shirts with the logos and name. The money you make from a race, put it into a fund for a next bash. That way you have the loot for cookouts, beer, and other stuff.

Things that could maybe be pre-requisites for Team RCNT....

I think a requirement should be a willingness to help others and share your knowledge on this site. So many members really spend a lot of time doing nothing but sharing their knowledge. it would be a nice reward for those members...

Almost all the regulars contribute in one way or another.

I couldnt have said it better myself! I'm with that 100%

And I think in order to be a team member, you have to display your bashing prowess at one of these bashes. No going got_nitro on it. I think entry fee should be broken pieces.....
