Hi all,

So I really want an Associated buggy. I know other brands have great buggies too, but I have the RC10T3 and have always wanted the buggy of that brand as a pair. My question is, does anyone know if there is a difference between the Halsey edition and the green edition? The only thing I have noticed looking between the two is the chrome wheels on the green edition as opposed to the white and black on the Halsey and different color shock arms.

Thanks in advance!

I think the only last bit confusing to me is if the body is painted? Sometimes I've seen it mentioned the Halsey body is, but then of course it's a lot and they are mention you need paint for the body.

It doesn't matter to me either way cuz I love painting, just confuses me if the kids have painted bodies or not 🤷‍♀️.

I've got 4 laxan bodies in line for paint, so one more is no problem! 😄

Okay, so I'm super close to hopefully buying the RC10 kit and I know this is likely a dumb question, but I'm going to ask anyway!

Would you build and run one of these limited edition kits? Or are they shelf queens? I kind of would hate to thrash a limited edition chassis. So I thought I'd just pick up a used chassis and run it with that, then the other could be for the shelf. Or is this a situation where you get this as a shelf queen then of course, you'd find another buggy to run*

*I'm sure this is most of y'alls solution 😅

Guess the only logical thing to do is buy two. Keep one in the package and the other run it hard. Just keep an eye on parts support.

I'm eyeballing a couple rc10 6x6. One electric and one I will convert to nitro. 🫡

Might be time to sell the EDF jet I don't plan to fly. 🤔

Up to you. "He who dies with the most toys wins" is my motto. 🤣
I've never flown any RC plane. So I'd rather start with a sport cub or equivalent, so I won't hopefully turn it into a lawn dart on the maiden flight 😄

RC10 is pretty much only useful on a prepared surface, it ain't now grassy field runner, so I wouldn't worry about running it if you wanted.

If I were looking for a 2wd buggy to play with, I'd probably pick up one of the Associated LT10SW models that are available RTD for $200, and just change the shock towers, bumpers and body... Poof! RB10

I saw a video where a guy tossed an rc plane off the side of a mountain. It was followed quickly by a oh no. Someone didn't turn it on. 🤣

I wouldn't mind one but the only place to fly around here they been doing over 20 years. Unfortunately development is coming.
My only beef with planes is maybe a few nuts or bolts can be salvaged. My car will only break a piece or two.

Liking this idea! 2 in 1 SCT to buggy 🤩

I struggle with where to fly it too. It would take me longer to get somewhere to fly it than the time I could spend flying it.
