What's on your bench today? I finally got my bodies back from paint. So I got the pinched jcon square body all mounted up on my vrd carbon build. Took some time trimming and tuning the wheel openings. But I got it dialed in finally. Couple more stickers and its done!

Finally finished my buggy. It’s a collaboration of parts from WRC, Mugen, and HB racing.

I don’t know a thing about buggies but, my friend in NC built this for me. He races. Told me he could build me a great basher with racing potential for what a rtr would cost. He did.

Here’s the end product. He mailed the rolling chassis and a bunch of parts. I just had to put servos, motor, etc… in it and get my end points and fail safe set. I gotta admit, it’s nice working behind people that know their work. Every bolt was tight. Everything set perfect. It was a simple bolt in and setup in general.

I decided on an alpha .28. Was going to do the sh 28 pro but, I really wanted to use that in a savage xl I’m going to build this winter. The alphas are strong, and they tune and run like a dream.

Ordered a racers edge bump box. It’s supposed to be here Saturday. Hoping to get it broke in and tuned over the holiday.

I’m thinking this is going to end up being my favorite rc. The hobao ss is going to be hard to beat but, these buggies are my speed. Very little to malfunction, tough as nails, and just fun. Dogs are already eyeing it getting ready. lol

Come on starter box.

Also, I’m not sure on switches. Never had a buggy. But, I glued a revo switch on the chassis. If anyone has a better suggestion I’m all ears.
