whats a good starting truck

My friend drives a savage. He beats the snot out of it. I mean when he jumps it on the table top and cartwheels 6 times Ya this is every time. The damd thing just keeps going and going. It really pisses me off. I drive a Tmaxx modifed. nice truck not as tough as a savage.

so wat do yu guys recommend for a rookie driver trying to get into the hobby. not exactly a terrible driver. also i realy want to be able to handle grass with authority. previously i was considering a jato but a couple expierience racers at my local track steered me away from it.One of the recommended the MT 2 but then they both agreed that the revo was really the best choice. I just want a second opinion.

You arent really gonna handle grass with authority with a stadium truck... Grass causes too much drag. An MT would be a good choice... Revos are nice...

so how are revos in the racing world? i dont have to have to fastest thing out there plus if i got a revo i'd be racing against other revos, so basically as far as go anywhere ability revos are the best?and they race okay too?

Ya, if you want to drive in grass, get a revo. Revo's are really good in the racing world. In MT class, the revo and tamiya TNX are doing the best. The revo is a really good dual-purpose truck.

I think your brother needs to forget the oldtimy crap like a rusteler or the rc10gt he needs to get the traxxes jato!!Besides the jato just needs ribs for back tires and a good set of tierods and its the fastest one out there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yea my brotha is only 9 that's why we are starting him out with an electric rustler. plus, i was looking into a jato for me until a racer at my track whose been racing for like 17 years, he told me jatos were definitely not the way to go.
so now I'm shifting toward the revo

Losi xxxnt for nitro and losi xxxt for electric. If you want to run both most of the parts are interchangeable.
