It is... Hollywooded up a fair bit, according to friends and family who work in the oil fields, but still really good, and season 2 with Sam Elliot joining the cast is just as good!

I'm the opposite. I've hated season 2 of Landman. At this point, I'm really hoping they put the ex-wife, the daughter, and the dad on that private jet, and lawn dart that sumbitch into a mountain range somewhere so we can get back to oil rig stuff.

Started watching The Rings of Power from the very begining, again, while I'm on my daily 1hr treadmill regiment. I saw a few episodes of season 2 awhile back, but I know I forgot a lot of stuff from season 1, which I watched a few years ago. So, figured I just go ahead and start over.

I tried to like this one, just couldn't get into it. I had the same problem with the Mandalorian.
