How are you so certain? Studios use autotune all the time to sell someone who can't sing, but has a pretty face. These days, more than ever. Also, autotune is often used for live performances, as well.
Case in point, last year's live performance debacle, from country star, Ingrid Andress. She claimed she inadvertently got drunk. Speculation: autotune failured.

I was embarrassed, for her!

I remembered, back in the 80's, hearing Joe Elliot(Def Leppard) live, and he was God awful! Came to learn that he mainly lipsync on stage.

Brcause autotune isn't hard to spot. The last vid I shared is definitely not autotune. I have pretty good pitch. I nearly majored in music (strings), which is all done fretless, so you control the pitch. And because of that I can spot autotune sometimes. She can actually sing. I also used to play with the autotune software and a ton of other audio software quite a bit. It's not just for vocals. I also did quite a bit of digging around on her once I found out she was the voice of the porcupine in the Sing movies. She's really good.
 
I bet a lot of you guys didn't know Jeremy Renner was a musical artist as well.

Pretty amazing dude, especially considering what he's gone through with the accident.

I remain skeptical. So, we'll just agree to disagree.
 
Started watching the Chernobyl miniseries again. Damn good show. And pretty damn scary to learn what they did. This is like the 5th time I've watched it.
