Chocolate cream, Dutch Apple, Lemon Cream or Lemon Meringue are my faves. If you find that "all you can eat" pie bar, make sure you let me know!

No one mentioned Blueberry or Raspberry pies. What's up with that 😂? If I walked into an all you could eat pie bar (why don't they have these?) I would make a b-line straight for the Blueberry pies. I would most likely eat sooooo much Blueberry pie I'd be hard pressed to eat any other pie 🤣.

This goes without saying, but a bucket of soft serve vanilla ice cream. A bowl of grated chocolate shavings to sprinkle over the top of anyone with the exception of the Pecan maybe 🤔.

I like fresh cherries quite a bit. I think part of it is the fascination...that no product labeled with cherry flavor has any resemblance to genuine thing.

Been there, done that!

My favorite are the Ranier cherries!

Back in May, I bought a cherry tree from my local Walmart. It has been grafted with 3 different species of cherries. In other words, it can produced 3 different cherry fruit species. Unfortunately, the tag didn't specify which species.
When I bought it, it was already flowering. So, about a month later, it produced fruits. Unfortunately, the birds also discovered the cherries, and beat me to it before I got the chance to cover the tree and let the fruits fully ripen. I got to taste one, and it was pretty good. Probably would have been sweeter had it had time to fully ripen.
At least, now I know the tree will fruit. Next year!

I know a lot of fruit trees you need more than 1 to produce fruit. I don't know about cherries, but they would have had multiples where you bought it. If it doesn't make fruit next year that could be why.

This tree has been specifically grafted to be able to self pollinate. So said the label.

Some of these cherry trees are incredibly prolific producers. There's one in my town that seems to have more cherries than leaves; it's completely covered with cherries when it fruits. And unless covered with netting, the birds will swarm it and take all the cherries. I guess I don't blame them!

Wow... some friends and I just had that conversation a few nights ago.

The last time I overindulged in cherries, towards the end of my snacking (if you could call it that) I started to pick up a hint of that artificial cherry flavor. I came to the conclusion that the artificial cherry flavor might be accurate to one very small part of the cherry taste but is lacking in the others that make up the big picture of what makes a cherry taste like a cherry.
