Eating at the hotel's complimentary breakfast buffet. Had an egg sausage cheese biscuit sandwich, 2 hard boiled eggs, Froot Loops, and coffee.
Did have a massive fail with the cook your own via waffle iron. Forgot to use the oil spray 🤦 Good thing it was a slow weekday morning. They had to take the iron to the back to clean it up. The iron returned after awhile, but I loss my appetite for waffles at this point.

First time this year firing up the Blackstone - smashburgers!
View attachment 274554
I've not had the desire to cook on the Blackstone this year. I’ve just been too busy with putting free time into my new gardening interests, that the lengthier overall time to cook on the BS has been put off for speedier ways to make dinner.
With work OT being drastically cut back, it looks like I'll have more full weekends at home. So, those'll be the time to cook on the BS. Looking forward to yummy smash burgers again!

Haven't done any gardening in a long time. Even if you are terrible at at growing vegetables....as long as yer good at protecting yer food crop ...the rabbits for the pot are worth it.

My property abutts forest land. So, lots of vegetarian critters! That's why I'll be enclosing my little 10'x10' garden with chicken fencing.
For any critters that infiltrates and become pests: say hello to my little friends.....

I got a wide assortment of critter control as well. The most efficient is the marauder 25 cal. The best looking is a cabelas outfitter 22...

I like the sound of this " @Xraycer the Waffle Slayer " 🤣

Very nice assortment of air guns fellas. I still have a few myself.

Where did you find that cheek riser for the Marauder pistol? That thing was so low that I swapped it out for an aftermarket custom stock adapter.

It's a cheap SKS cheek riser that I dremeled and contoured to fit. Though I've often thought about the setup you have.

My Marauder has been on loan forever to my BIL however since it's running a shroud extension with baffles (Marmot Militia if memory serves, now defunct), and he needed something stealthy for squirrel issues. And, I have nowhere to shoot at home these days anyway.

half lard half beef tallow, with salt and cracklings. The pork belly had more meat then fat so I ended up with primarily fried beef jerky lol... which is almost gone already👍 I'll go on a walk today and probably finish the rest.

Last week I had a more succesful batch of horse fat and beef tallow
