How are you cooking them?
It’s not the cook-it’s the meat. I slay ribs consistently. These two racks I picked up at the same place, and same time. Cooked them both differently after the first was PURE ASS, and the result was identical.

I hate when that happens...
Yessir… same here. Thankfully it’s only been four times in 20 or so years-counting these two racks.. Now don’t even get me started on Food Dog steaks lol.. Haven’t had it happen but mayyyyyyyybe twice since we switched to Harris Teeter, Whole Foods, and Lowes Foods for them..

I've been lucky, 2 local grocery stores that are good for meat and 2 great butcher shops within 1/2 hour.
Not a thing wrong with that! We buy everything but fresh meats, fresh seafood, paper towel & TP from Food Dog. The rest comes from the other three I mentioned.

This came out tastier than it looks.

Chicken Bulgogi. Savoury, yet fruity - with a splash of lime, a wave of heat from Sambal paste - but not at the expense of other flavours. Soy sauce and Bulgogi sauce is basically pear, apple, ginger and garlic with honey and soy. Just a knockout meal. 👌 Took 20 minutes from veg prep to plate.

Unless you could burn water - anyone could make this with minimal training. Chicken - 10 mins. Noodles 4 mins. Veg last 4 mins of chicken fry up. Mix with sauce mentioned above, squirt of lime - done! 🤩😎💯

That bread looks like fudge! What is that?
It's certainly very moist, chewy and squishy despite its density; about three slices are enough to feel full
I have to make up a name for it yet because I'll certainly make it again👍
I got the idea because I'd be baking traditional pumpernickel anyway, which takes around 25 hours (yeah, gotta' use that solar energy🤣) so I just thought to experiment by using an unusual type of flour to see if it would caramelize similarly. I really wanted to get rid of the oat flakes I had (I prefer rye), as well as leftover cocoa and maple syrup. Blended it all together into flour. Using only milk was also part of that experiment. It turned out as a dense chocolate that's actually closer to a cake then bread
