So you break the bacon up and put it on YOUR cinnamon roll. They obviously have no clue. Bacon makes everything better. 😋
 
My daughter's future mother-in-law is Mexican and she can cook.
Every year for Chirstmas she makes me a plate of Tomales and rice, soooo good.

Apperently I cannot go to the track Wednesday

But who cares, I'm nagging my dad to take me anyways. I had it planned for 2 months, I will not cancel my visit.

So maybe once I do get home from the track Wednesday I might have no communication to the internet. But hey, at least I got to go to the track. And this time a few of my buddies should be there and I want to see them, haven't seen them in well over 4 months since the old track, RC Underground closed up.

Its the only time I can go down and do RC until summer time basically.

Why you might say?
Because of my grades, but I got all my work caught up and I can't turn it in until after break so what can I do, nothing.

I worked with the guy in the pic and he traded me a tamale his wife made for some of my penne pasta.

What your parents are doing is the equivalent of what happens in life. When you don't go to work, you make less $. When that happens you loose things. School is work as well. Hence school work. Bad grades= bad results. Your parents are a lot smarter than some. You will pick yourself up and learn from this. That's what they want. Good luck @DavidB1126 . :cool:. And don't forget, wear sunscreen.

School, shouldn't. Because would I ever use the Pythagorean thereom out in the real world? I want the experts to tell me.
I'm not ace - ing Pythagorean thereom and trigonometry rn.

Yeah no. Rc is a hobby. School, and your parents are your life. It will surprise you, how much an education can help you compete in the real job market. Just think. Big $=Big Rc. Ha. Good luck.

The most important subjects are math and science. I would argue art is very important as well. But I will tell you... if I had it to do over again, I would not have settled for anything less than straight A's all the way through high school, so I could have gotten an engineering scholarship. I coasted through high school, and I really, really regret it. Work your butt off right now, and you'll be able to take it far easier later on in life, rather than the other way around. I can't stress that enough, and I am sure every old timer will tell you the same thing. Getting old, and having to work hard to stay afloat really blows.
 
Not to preach to David but I totally agree with @WickedFog , I was terrible in school because my mind wouldn't focus and still doesn't if it involves reading.
Hard labor jobs beat you to near death. Ask us how we know, and I highly recommend dropping the "screw the grades" thing you got going on.

The more math you know, the more money you can make.
 
I train lots of students, half of which are restarting school. One clear thing I hear, is how hard it is being on their own and having to go to school full time.

Got a 100% working tactic for ya: work your 🍑off for one testweek and chill out the next 8 to 12 weeks. Repeat.

time to brag: I haven't listened to any single 💩 that my teachers were saying for 3 months. Last week I woke up every day between 5 and 6 am and studied untill atleast 12 pm. I'm getting way higher grades than anyone who paid attention in class📈👍 as long as we don't talk about dutch or English🥲
