Idk if its just me but this December, I ain't liking it.
Yea, I'm not feeling Christmassy at all. I think it's because the kids are nearly grown and are all doing their own thing. I miss the days when they were all home, having fun playing with toys and each other.

Chili dogs and fries. 😁

Then all you gotta do is win one of those big Powerball or Megamillion. Simple!

Today was the hospital's holiday luncheon for all the employees. I got prime rib, chicken picatta, mashed taters, roasted carrots, green beans with almonds, a cranberry apple salad with apple cider vinagrette, a roll, and a red velvet cup cake. Only complaint would be the overcooked prime rib, but the tasty au jous and homemade horseradish sauce helped it out some.
Overall, it was pretty good!

Tonight, I made beef stew for tomorrow night's dinner and Mrs. X made baked haddock. I started the stew before Mrs. X got home, so it was done before the fish.
It was 6pm, and I was getting pretty hungry. I finally, couldn't wait any longer and made myself a small bowl of stew over rice. It was so good, and held me over for another 15min until the fish was done.
The haddock was very fresh, and was topped with a crushed Ritz cracker butter stuffing. Very good as well!
So, I guess I had surf and turf for dindin tonight. Sorry, too hungry to think about pics.

Lunch was left over chile dogs from last nights dinner.
