I finished yesterday's salmon for dinner. Then, Mrs. X and I served up a taco dinner for our son's boys' high school soccer team. Susan made beef taco and shredded chicken breasts. The team finished everything. Some were disappointed when they came back for thirds to find the beef tray depleted. Next time, we'll add another pound or 2 of ground beef.
This is a traditional pre-game day dinner. Unfortunately, it's been raining all day, otherwise they would be hanging in the backyard playing cornhole, basketball and chilling by the firepit. Tonight, they were hanging in the living room and taking turns playing XBox sports games. A good group of kids, most of which have been playing soccer together for +10years.

Went to Miller's Tavern with wife and mother-in-law. I had the fish tacos. It was delicious! Large, fresh pieces of haddock. Very good aioli with a little sriracha heat. Sided with a generous portion of sweet potato fries.

We're getting a new furnace put in tomorrow, so I've been rearranging and clearing out space fir tomorrow's install. As much of a pain that it was, it also feels good to clean out and reorganize an area that's been neglected for years.
While I was toiling away in the basement, Mrs. X made a wonderful and very satisfying dinner that really hits the spot after a long day!

Wow. Wow. That looks too good. Mrs. X can cook. :rolex:
Thank you! She comes from a long line of wonderful cooks on her mother's Italian side of the family.

Tillamook is excellent ice cream and cheese for that matter.
The factory is only about 7 hours from us and the last time we went to the Oregon coast, we toured the factory.
Very impressive and the fresh squeaky cheese was unbelievable.
