Brings me back to my childhood days of bologna and American cheese with yellow mustard on Wonder white. Not very healthy, but, Man, it was tasty!
It's a helluva lot healthier than most things nowadays. I love me a good bologna sammich.

Compared to stuff that was on store shelves in the 70s and 80s, you have a lot, lot more healthier options nowadays. While I grew up and love Wonder bread, it has to be one of the unhealthiest thing you could willingly put into your body. The sliced breads we buy for our kids have like 4 ingredients, not 20 chemical compounds. The peanut butter we get consists of no more than 3 ingredients. Plenty of organic produce and meats in every grocery stores. We have an entire store aisle just for water. People are so much more food conscious and informed than they've ever been.
But, sure, plenty of crap to be had should you choose to go that route as well. But unlike the time I grew up, the healthy options are aplenty.

I guess growing up here in the country it was different. Our local grocery stores always had good produce and meats. We also raised a garden, fished, etc.

But I can see your point, and I agree that there are more healthy options now that are widely available. I rarely eat bread anymore, and our peanut butter has two ingredients unlike the sugary stuff I grew up with. Oddly enough, I like our modern peanut butter better. And she makes a killer low-carb reeses cup shake out of it that is to die for.

Back to my diet, small breakfast and watermelon for dinner.
The good news is, my blood Ferritin is 42. If it's 50 or above I have to give a pint of blood, 50 or below I'm good for 3 months.;)

Have you thought about not chewing your nails? Get it? Nails? Iron? Aw never mind! :p

Pulled pork sandwich, and sour cream & cheddar chips for lunch.
