Why do peppers and onions smell so terrible cooking but taste so good?
I used to hate peppers and onions, now I eat them on a lot of meals. Well, when I get a meal.
I load them up on my breakfast every morning though.

They smell good, to me, while cooking.

Breakfast this morning was avocado toasts with Sazon seasoning and Melinda's sriracha.
The favorite Huy Fong brand has been in short supply for the past year. Supposedly due to a very bad jalapeno season in Mexico. I find this strange since I see fresh jalapeno at the stores all the time and they're still at the same price.
Anyways, the Melinda's brand sriracha isn't half bad. It'll have to do until the HF brand shows up on store shelves again.
Also, had a mango for breaky.

The daughter just stopped me today inquiring about a hobby shop for her husband. This same house I'm on my second set since the 90s. Good people both rounds I have no complaints.

Down in NJ right now. Went to an All-You-Can-Eat sushi place. $30/person. Outstanding price for the quality! I was so frigging stuff when we left.

Went to an Italian grocery store and found lunch there. Breaded eggplant with thick slices of fresh mozzarella and roasted red peppers, and drizzled with balsamic vinegar. Excellent, fresh bread to boot!
