We went out to dinner tonight to celebrate being broke, we just thought we would finish the job! 🤣
I had a combo plate, tri-tip, chicken, ribs, cole slaw, creamed corn, fries and a pepsi. Was really good and plenty of leftovers for lunch!

My wife brought home some Vietnamese food for dinner, on her way home from work. She got us a couple of Vietnamese sandwiches (banh mi), some spring rolls, some sort of big deep fried banana, and a Vietnamese dessert "pudding"(che dau trang).

I got it as a substitution and was pretty upset because I didn't order a sugar free bbq sauce. But this stuff is pretty darn good. It has enough heat to wake up the taste buds too, which I love.

Just baked some chicken breasts and put some of this sauce on them with some red and green peppers and onions and DAYUM! It hit the spot.

That's what I ordered, but the spicy version. I guess they thought spicy was more important than sweet lol. But as it turns out, I kinda like this stuff. The heat is definitely better.

I love meatloaf, the wife not so much.. Used to make it all the time when the kids were younger. I need to make some soon.

Trying out a new recipe tonight, supposed to be a good one, but I had to sub a couple things.
 
We still make peanut butter and syrup sandwiches :)
Last night was chicken, parmesan noodles and salad.

Those noodles looks da bomb!

Just finished my breakfast. Toasted plain bagel with liverwurst and American cheese. A banana for dessert. Breakfast of champions!
