Coconut curry tofu with baby bok choy, bean sprouts, and tomatoes over basmati rice. Also, added a baked sweet potato. The sweet of the potato really went well with the savory of the curry dish.

This is what I had last night at Montana's; I'm still tasting it occasionally today. 🥴

The ribs were excellent and I do mean that. The brisket was okay.. it was served cold 👎🏻
The chicken wings I ordered medium.. they were like a sweet medium..

And the cornbread was dryer than a package of breadcrumbs. Lastly the fries, couldn't tell ya. 😉

Mrs. X and I drove down to RI to help our middle daughter move out of her college apartment. Afterwards, we went to a nearby restaurant: Crudo.
Very dark in restaurant, so not a very good picture, but this maple bacon double pork chop with spinach and mash was delicious!

I've often pondered the reason why some restaurants (usually top tier) insist on creating such a dark ambience. Is it because they don't want you to see the interior, the wait staff, the food or the check clearly 🙄? Or all of the above 🤔? It's a mystery.

Everything expensive happens in the dark;
Shenanigans, heist's, rent-a-partners, Coldplay concert slip ups and fancy dinning.

Maybe it was a goth Italian establishment and I just didn't realize it 🤔
It also didn't help that the day was heavily overcast and the walls were all painted with a really dark blue.
