That'll work. The ice water always works for me. Did you know? You can get an idea of how old the egg is by how much of a air pocket is in there. I don't have any anymore (because I hate chickens) but we had a lot of chickens. Lot's of eggs every day.......too much pita though. LOL I have friends that I can get eggs from cheap 😆
Yeah, I really miss the eggs we had from our chickens when I was a kid. My dad was raised off grid, in the sticks as they say. No electricity, no running water, and he had 12 brothers and sisters. He was 3rd from youngest, so he learned from nearly all of them. When it came to growing a garden, raising chickens, rabbits, etc, my dad was like THE guru around here. Best produce, eggs, etc I've ever had.

Allright @Xraycer
What do you normally do with Udon noodles? Nongshim Teriyaki Stir Fry was on sale, so I thought I'd try this stuff out. These noodles make me think I'm eating night crawlers. I bet ya I could catch a helluva fish on these guys.

Savory Asian flavored gummy worms. That's what these are!

Aren't they used in stir-fry?

First time I've ever had noodles like this, so I dunno. Are these like supposed to be eaten by noodle snobs? They cost 4x as much as my favorite noodles, and my pinky wouldn't stop pointing at the ceiling while I ate them. The flavor seemed a bit snobbish too 🧐

I come from Indiana. You give me a pound of Morel Mushrooms that some French chef would likely ruin in a stoopid sauce, and I'm gonna bread em and fry em and make a mushroom sammich on white bread with some ketchup. I'm not up on all this fancy stuff 😝

I'm no expert for certain but I'm sure they are normal served in a stir-fry or some Thai dish. Would be pretty bland otherwise.

Honestly, while I’ve eaten them, I've never made anything myself. They're a Japanese noodles, and I believe most Japanese prefers them served in a broth. I'm sure there are a ton of recipes online.
Honestly, not one of my favorite noodles. I'd take ramen over udon any day.

Breakfast: bagel with fresh avocado and sprinkled with Sazon complete seasoning; a leftover air fried chicken thigh; a bowl of crunchy Raisin Bran and Cinaamon Toasts Crunch; coffee

At least I'm not the only 1 not concerned with matching up foods....not everything can be the combo that steak and potatoes is....if that's what available, sometimes it's chicken thighs and raisin bran.

I love food, but I ain't no food snob. I'm just as home in a fancy restaurant as I am at a hot dog cart. If it tastes good to me, that's all that matters.
Breakfast plan was just bagels with avocado and coffee. The chicken thigh was something that was in the fridge that needed to be consumed. Cereal was just because I wanted to finish the last of it to get rid of it from the pantry.
That's what I had Breakfast, without one iota of embarrassment or regret. 🤘😀🤘

Dude, I love ketchup, but on morels? Blasphemy!
Breaded and fried with a cold brew only!
I like them plain, with ketchup, thousand island, floured, cornmeal, beer batter, etc. I don't care. I've had them about any way you can have them. My dad used to hunt them out here then drive up by you and clean Michigan out too 😜

Yeah, same here. The Nissin noodles I buy are way better.

These cost a little more than Nissin, but are a much higher quality product. It has become my favorite instant noodle brand. Should be able to find it at Walmart.

They come with a sauce packet instead of the powdered spice load.
