Yeah, it's ok. I just buy a block of Velveeta queso blanco and melt it down with some chunky salsa and ground beef along with a bunch of cayenne and white pepper 😋

Lots cheaper too!
Sounds great!.......but, most times I like just opening a jar and chow.

🤣🤣 I definitely have my moments! 😋 As I mentioned I've not had that combo in a very long time. I forgot what it tastes like. Not sure why it came to mind 🤔🤔😮🤔🤔!?!?! Must be one of those moments risin' up again 😂👍.
I get like that with McDonald's McRib sandwiches. They come around, i want one, and after I eat it, I want a time machine to go back 20 minutes and kick my ass.

I just got a little brick of Velveeta to do this. I haven't had it in a while.
I just discovered the queso blanco last year I think it was. I sometimes just toss a small can of green chilles in it, and blip a few romas and a small onion through a food processor. Then I just go to the spice cabinet and start throwing stuff in. Whatever fits the mood I guess. Then its either ground beef or hot sausage. I made it with chorizo once, and that was really good. I had to some heat out because that chorizo was 🔥 🥵🥵🥵

Morning started off at our house with eggs, bacon, and bread.

BIL roasted a prime rib for dinner. We started off with his fantastic lobster bisque. The dinner sides were roasted baby potatoes, steamed broccoli, dinner rolls, and roasted squash. Some of us added yesterday's lobster and shrimp casserole to our turf dinner.

Today's and last night's meals.

Christmas dinner atTexas de Brazil was WOW. Open buffet course items are way too numerous to count. The servers walk around with large rotisserie skewers with a wide variety of meats and ask if you would like what they're offering. I had so many different types of meats on my plate I'd be hard pressed to name them all. And, of course. dessert consisted of carrot cake and flan. That wedge of carrot cake was huge. I was so full as we were leaving I felt sick.

Nice, except for the Vaseline covered sea cockroaches. 😜 Glad you got your carrot cake! :thumbs-up:

Thank you, so am I. It was sooo freakin' good. Everything was extraordinary. Shared a few bites of the cake with my best friend's wife. She's a carrot cake lover too. All-in-all it was a very wonderful evening with close friends and fabulous food. It really doesn't get much better than that. 😎
