My t-maxx runs great for 5 mins then just stalls. There is no loss of performance, it just stalls and I can't restart for 5 mins. It will then run for 2 mins and stall, all the time with no dimiinihsed performance. This is a used t-maxx I just bought and I think the engine is burned out. Your thoughts please!!

Sounds like it's either tuned too lean or like you mentioned, worn out.
How hot is it when it quits? When it won't start, does it have compression?

I'm running at the stock carb settings; good smoke, no tell tale signs of being too lean (ie crackling exhaust, no smoke). I dont have a temp gun, but I think I should buy one. I did not check compression. Will do next time.
