Hey guys,
You have to keep in mind that like everything in this hobby, everyone and their mother wants to come out with their own nitro fuel. Great fules aren't made overnight....they're properly developed and tested with the right blend of additives to deliver in as many ways as possible. Many new to this hobby don't realize how much easier your engine can be to tune and hold a tune with great fuel.
I think Bryons, and O'Donnel are the best on the planet bar none. Blue Thunder is great too and you can't beat the price. Like many thing in life, people assume your going to get a better quality product if you spend more money but that's not always the case....period. Blue Thunder is usually the cheapest fuel around here and works excellent in every regard. I would have mentioned Bryons earlier but I haven't seen it anywhere on the westcoast. When I lived in NYC it was easy to find Bryons locally. Some hardcore racers I know won't put anything other then Bryons in their engines.
BTW....Has anyone tried the "nitro scents" that they have now...lol? My LHS had some and you could smell it in the fuel but I wonder what it smells like when it actually burns. I'm not big on artifical rootbeer scent but it's better then stinky O'Donnel..lol.
Peace
