hi all i am new to rc and i have been promising my self to get one for about 2 years now. I have been looking at getting the haboa hyper st? is this a good idear? any other sujestions would be much aprecited I'm looking at spending in the range of £300-£350 (about 600 us dolers but remember they rip us off in england) i realise this is not alot in the rc world but as i am only 16 i dont have the funds but am realy keen.

thanks,
Harry.

u could import a Losi 8ight T RTR with that budget... dunno what local prices r but take advantage of the weak dollar and u can get some pwnage...

The Hyper ST is a good truggy, also look at the Hong Nor X1 CRT. To be honest if you can afford the ST then you can pretty much pick any of the top name truggies. Stay away from the Hellfire, I love mine but I seem to be one of none.

thanks for the info. also i have been trying to reasurch the hyper and i can't seem to find much info about them any one have a link or somthing??

thankyou.

The hyper ST is the best bang for the buck. I do like that the Losi comes with the Spektrum but, the Hyper is just an awesome truggy. If you can afford the ST Pro, that would be the best way to go. If not, the RTR is still a very decent truggy.

i would get a losi.. on another note, i race a cen matrix and it handles fine

Check out my Hyper ST Pro in the for sale forums.....it is loaded, and for that price you can not beat it, especially with the extras and the Spektrum radio.

Unless you want ot build it up yourself......in that case I am including a fresh chassis....so you could tear mine down and build it up on a new chassis..;)

Anyway the Hyper ST is the best bang for the buck out there ....in my opinion...

TalonOne

what truck would you recomend for a basher? i am thinking about picking up a new one and going brushless with it. i won't race, just blast around and probably hit a few jumps

i'm looking at either a 5B SS or a super class crawler right now. none of the truggies really jumped out at me

Mugen Prospec truggy, it practically drives itself. They amaze me with their agility. I have seen a lot of truggies except for the Hyper ST, so I can't comment on it. None compare to the Mugen from my experience..

I got to see a box stock Hyper ST run two different races over the past two weekends. I was impressed, it was hooked up and handled nicely. Of course the stock engine was no match for the high end .21s out there but you can't take points away from a RTR for that.
