what to get for 1/8 scale racing

Ok so i am new to.this and need a good starter buggy or truggy that wont break the bank but be competitive at the same time. What are your thoughts

You can get the losi 8ight and 8ight-t 2.0's for dirt cheap.

Where can i get a losi i.have looked and there around 800 bucks

the other guys here will give you the best info you need on the kind of RC for you. my advice is about the shop you go to. find some regular RC guys and ask them about which RC shop to use. the shop is as important as the brand. and buy your first car/truck from a local shop. that way they will do you a good job. you can't beat the guys here. you will not need any other RC site.

I'd buy either a mugen mbx7, losi 8, or associated rc8.2 if you're looking at racing buggies
