The aluminum aftermarket diff cases are very solid, and eliminate any flex from high-torque moments. I use them in all my 1/10ths, they can handle wheelies on 130mm tires in a monster truck, and go 53mph in an onroad car, about 15k RPM input speed and 5k RPM wheel speed.

What model of Exceed Nitro are we talking? I'm pretty sure they only sold pivot-ball versions, but the c-link suspension models need a different aftermarket diff case, same idea though.

I don't recommend the aluminum differentials themselves, I found them all to have the ring gear out-of-true too far to be any use.
