what to buy

So I have a bunch of gift card for my favourite hobby store and I'm torn on what to get.
what I'm looking to get in the near future is
- spectrum dx4 transmitter and receivers
- RC4WD Gelande 2
- Phoenix-80 Brushless ESC & Power 60 Brushless Outrunner Motor, 400Kv for my plane I have sitting on the shelf waiting to get finished.

Nothing like a nice new "fancy" radio. Although Id go with a Futaba over the Spektrum, either would be a good thing to have.

Yea get the Futaba 3PM-X. I love mine.

Go with a newer 4-channel version of the Futaba or Spektrum (like the DX4s).

@Jacks9930 depends really, what radio system are you using now? If it's a stock setup I'd probably go with the radio and if we're allowed to pick something other than on the list I too would go Futaba.

If you already have a fairly decent radio I'd go with the ESC and motor setup - mostly because I've yet to get into flying R/C and would like to and being that's all you need to finish the plane I'd go that route.

I would get the plane going. I like my cars and trucks but I much rather flying!
