If you can, get it brand new. I've bought a used Tmaxx off of eBay before, and when it came, it was very poorly maintained, and it was a well, bitch to get started. I eventually did, but if this is your first, I wouldn't recommend used.

Check Post above ;)

If it's your first rc, I would go with electric because of their ease. But if you want a nitro, go for it. I would buy something brand new if ya can. Just follow instructions and take your time whatever direction you go.

What? I'm kinda lost. Return spring for what engine?

well before i order i want to make sure there are all the pars for my enguin. it's the 1.5. how do i change my reciver to nicd or nimh so i can run a fail safe?

Do not buy a Pro 15 Maxx. You will not be able to get some parts for it and would have to updrade to the widemaxx suspension every time you broke something.

A fail safe will work with all batteries, not just rechargeables. What are you ordering? You need to spell better, also. "i want to make sure there are all the pars for my enguin."?? What the hell does that mean?

I'm gonna take a stab at it and he wants to make sure "all the parts are there for his engine"

The fail safe will work with 4 AA batteries just fine, however it is better to get a rechargeable hump pack for it.

well how will i put the hump pack in?

how will i convert the thing to accept a hump pack?

You remove the screws holding the 4 cell AA batteries and put the hump pack where that was. Plug the wires back in and your done.

with the heat method do i let it cool down for 2-3 min or what. when i first run it do i stop at the 200's or what?
