Had my maxx out today and it did something wierd.. At full throttle the steering did what ever it wanted too?? when I let off throttle I could regain steering?? Batteries are fully charged. No powerlines. out in the country.

I'm still running the stock traxxas radio but I'm looking into a 2.4 ghz setup
Ok any opions.. Spektrum, Airtronics, Futaba.. I will probaly by as nice used one rather than brand new to save some $$ is the range on a 2.4 setup the same or better?? Thanks

I had a JR Racing synthasized control and it worked good butif you get that you have to make sure you get the servos with it.It takes JR racing servos and a JR racing reciever. The Traxxas servos won't plug in the JR racing reciever.

Full throttle puts all the weight bias on the back of the truck, hence lightens the front of the truck and causing it to "bite" less. My Revo does the same thing, which is why I'm looking at relocation a few components to get more weight up front. This is known as "on power steer" vs "off power steer". Monster trucks tend to suffer worst from this effect, but my OFNA Buggy does the same when I'm WFO and in a tight turn.

Sway Bars help with this though: http://www.rc-truckncar-tuning.com/sway-bar.html

I'm still learning about how to solve this myself....so I'm no expert. Just been researching it.
