I currently own and race an OFNA 1/8th buggy. I upgraded to a O'Donnell SS .21. I was wondering if that is a legit set up or should I use that as a basher and not my race buggy or should I get something else to race?

You can race anything that fits in the rules of your local track. If you are new to racing, I would say just take what you have to the track and see how it does ;-) It's all about fun and "getting the hang of it" when you're new to racing anyway.

My first few races last season, I ran an OFNA Ultra MBX Nitro Buggy. I had a BLAST!

Most Buggy classes limit you to a .21 engine in the Pro Class. Sportsman is less strict. I ran an OFNA Force .26 in my OFNA the first few times...no one said they would care, unless I was winning ;-)

I say race it as it sits!

Race which ever buggy handles the best and is more durable. Also spare parts, you don't want to race something you don't have parts for. The O'Donnell truggy/buggy never caught on around here. I can't really comment on them.
