The B4 buggy I have up for sale here has been on Craigslist too, and I have somebody who is interested. Two weeks ago, he wanted to trade an aftershock. Looks like a roller, which isn't really an issue. I told him I wasn't really interested in it, and now today he's offering a Hobbywing esc. While the esc isn't really a bad thing to have around, I'm actually thinking the truck might be better.

Now if the truck is a straight up roller, I actually have what I would need to make it run. The steering servo may be a bit weak for it, but I could still do it.

OR.......

I could get the LST Electric Conversion Kit. The kit is $85, but I would need 1/8th scale electrics to make it work.

What I guess I could do, is make it nitro to start, then work on getting the electrics? Or should I wait for an HPI gas engine? (Yes, I wandered a bit)

I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!! :D

Not sure what's going on now. The guy told me Thursday night he would send me more pics "after work".

Pretty long shift....

Honestly, I want to put a gas engine in it.

The aftershock is a cheaper quality version of the LST2 and has a slightly different design but its still a decent platform. Id make it electric at least in the long run and if you want to make it something else either temporarily or permanently then whatever floats your boat.

One thing I can say for certain if you go electric is buy "The Dudes Racing" motor mount, Losi's single speed conversion, and a tekno battery tray that you can mount yourself (The V4 tray is probably the best bet but a V3 would also most likely work.

The reason I say that is because the Losi conversion (which unfortunately is what I have on my LST2-E right now) puts all the weight of the motor, ESC, and Lipos between the center and the rear of the chassis. The only thing up front giving it any weight is the RX box and steering servos.
