Well I'm thinking of upgrading my a-arms and shock towers and I can't decided if I want to go with Proline or RPM stuff so I figured I'd see what you guys think about it. I know RPM stuff is almost indestructible and was wondering how strong the Proline stuff was?

Not sure on the Proline stuff myself, but I swear by RPM products. I have used them for too many years to count and they never failed me.

RPM for life. I have no reason to try anything else.

While I have no beef with Proline, in fact Proline makes top quality stuff - RPM has my vote. RPM has proven time and time again to take a serious beating and keep going and in the event you do break them all you have to do is send them the part and they send you a brand new one. You simply can't beat that.

RPM!

I was talking to my friends over at my LHS about this the other day actually which is funny. I asked them if it is better to buy the RPM products, or the Pro-Trac kit and why. They told me that it depends. Are you a basher, or racer? If you are a pure, no track, big air basher then RPM all the way man. I have heard that the Pro-Trac kit was made to transform the 2wd into an outstanding racer. Yes, the arms and all other pieces of it are very thick, and amazingly designed, but RPM is a whole lot better for bashing purposes. Just my words that I heard. Hope this helped.

Thanks everyone for the advise :thumbup1: I'm having a hard time with this one I know RPM stuff is great I have it on my Revo And my Rustler. I'm more of a racer now then a basher so I think I'm going to give the Proline pro-trac system a try.

One thing proline has for them is good customer service if you have problems...

I know this thread is a bit old but for what it's worth... I have 2 Slashes...

The first, a durability-upgraded stock class racer. RPM shock towers and other bits, proline rear skid (replaces bumper mount too)

The second, a highly-modified mod class racer with Pro-Trac and an LCG chassis.

Our club does not allow the Pro-Trac in the stock class so that's the biggest consideration but if you're club does allow it, it makes a hugh difference in handling and it's taken a beating so far in my setup :thumbup1:

I agree I got a set of integy drive shafts for my tamiya txt-1 and the were the wrong ones I emailed integy and the said what's the number on the package. When I told him he said that's the right part I said no it aint it like 4 inches to long when compressed and needless to say I still have them cause he said sux to be you basicly
:( so say no to integy

Hey sorry. Not rying to ruffle feathers here. I saw the stuff at the track and it looked alright to me.

Oh I'm not saying there stuff bad but there customer servise is horrable I have a full aluminum tt-01 that's totaly integy but I'm just not going to buy anything else from them after the way they did me on the drive shafts

Well it's been awhile since I started this thread but I'm glad to report I finally was able to purchase the proline system and I’m in the process of installing it on my slash look forward to reporting on how it does on the track.
