I've always wanted to try a jet but I know I would crash it and break it.

That's why we have a hot glue gun at our airfield lol. If you find a good AMA airfield near you, most of them have trainer programs with instructors more than willing to teach you to fly. Most clubs have trainer planes, and you can "buddy box" with the instructor. Your radio will be linked to his so if you get into trouble, he can hit a switch and take over control of the bird. They bring you along at your own pace, until you are ready to fly on your own.

Flying is a lot of fun. I fly mostly FPV with my uncle. It's a lot of fun. Here is an older video of me chasing him around in our 70mm F-16's.

There is an airfield maybe 1/2 mile from my house lol.

I'm the blue dot not the blue house and the airfield is at the grey dot. It's 1 mile between the road marked as T-207 and Dyess Ave.

There is the contact info. Looks like they have Pilot Instruction Training. I'd imagine the scenery up in SD would be freakin beautiful from the sky. I'd love to fly up there. Good luck bro!
I would love to fly a plane or quad and look southwest of where I am. If it were for the giant trees I could see Black Elk Peak from my house.

Theres an airfiled by my house. I've been wanting to take my truck there but I hear RC car radios can interfere with plane radios and I wouldn't want to cause a disaster lol.

My collection is tiny, Granite, Wltoys 12428, Losi Mini T, 2x Associated SC28's for indoor fun, a couple blade coaxial helis and a estes drone...lol

How's the wltoys? I've been wanting one for a while now just never pulled the trigger.
So far it's been a fun little toy. Tons of hop up parts available and with some tweaking can be a pretty capable car. I'd say go for it just be wary when you take stuff off as the motor mount screws on mine nearly stripped lol

rhbailey24 - How do you like the Tekno MT410? That is on my "wish list," but it's a LONG wish list lol

Ollie - Impressive Tamiya Collection!!! I'm jealous!

Wow! Really nice organizational skills! Custom PVC stand for each truck!

I made one of those stands once... can't imagine making 10 of them. Tedious.
I made my first one 15 yrs ago when I got into the hpi savage trucks and it was tedious, but it's really easy to make them for truggy flat bottom trucks. Takes about 10 minutes and I just eyeball the measurements based on the wheelbase.

Ask anyone that owns an MT410 and they'll give you the same answer. It's the dream rc basher. It does everything great, it's extremely tough without upgrades and its relatively light for its size. With all that being said, there's no better value per performance than any of the 1/8th Arrma products. I could have almost bought the entire arrma 1/8th lineup for what I have in 2 teknos.

No need to by jealous. :p Very cool aircrafts on your side. ;) Tamiya has fantastic scale cars, on road and off road. This is more the passion of collecting and building than driving. Have some more cars on my list like the Lancia 037 Rallye and the Delta HF Integrale on XV01.

Further offroad projects LOSI 5ive T and LOSI DBXL.
