What new class should I get in to?

I need your opinions! What new class should we get in to? We are torn between Losi Micro T/B and the Kyosho Mini-Z. We have plenty of bashing cars for outside and we have crawlers. I want a very small car that we can race indoors during the super hot Florida summers. I'm leaning towards the Mini-Z's because we can race on our hardwood floors and then switch to drifting pretty easily. Although, I feel they may be limiting because they can't drive over carpet. So The Micro T/B would better for crossing the house but then may not drive as well on the smooth surfaces. I dont think we will build specific tracks and just keep it simple by using the existing flooring in our home. This is for me and my son BTW. Just having fun while beating the heat.

Mini or micro b/t would be my choice. Can get tires for any surface pretty cheap.

mini z's do work on carpet. just not well depending on the type/length of carpet. and they can't transition from hardwood to carpet if there's any kind of lip. and drifting them on your hardwood floor will damage your floor. drift tires are plastic, so those spinning will just grind away at your floor. rubber tires you'll be fine.
so I'm leaning towards the Losi. little more versatile, little less damaging to the house.

I was torn too but My vote would be for the Micro-t. All terrain, carpet, tile, vinyl whatever you have and can drift too. Simple ramps out of cardboard and painters tape to hold in place. Don’t get me wrong the Z’s are definitely cool but are limited to flat land, they definitely have the right body choices though.
Roll the rugs back all the way painters tape on the ground and hidden (instant track)

First person to get all 4 bottles to one side of the rug wins…

I did see just a bit ago that the Scx30 bodies fit the wheelbase of the microt too. I went with the “T” just because it turns sharper than the “B”. The “T” has a shorter wheelbase and wider tires which makes it turn sharper and not push as much in the turns. Your “Z’s” will come later

Just a thought hot wheels have a 1:64 scale rc car that are pretty fun too for ~$15 when they are on sale too. They can run on their tracks too like all other HW and matchbox just make sure to vacuum/sweep and quick mop the floor of dust and stuff.

Micros are just a ton of fun. I dont have a Mini Z...yet... but do have both the Losi Micro T and B. Whenever we go to a hotel, I bring them with me, many smiles to be had ripping these little guys around. Hotel room courses are a blast, and you can jump them off the bed.
*Side note though, you will get the look from your wife that clearly communicates that she married a perpetual 12 year old. But hey, it was her decision right?
