Could be a max6 or max8... they all look the similar without a size reference. What are it's measurements?
Looking at the space around the LED between the output ports, there's not much room, so likely a max8. The max6 has a bit more room around the LED and the 3 ports are almost all equally spaced from one another.
I have 2 of the max6's and one of the max10 sct's.
The max10/max10sct have 2 caps, but the others have 3.
Since yours is missing the extra plastic over the cap area, it's likely not a max5. It has 6 caps actually I believe and the extra plastic is covering up 3 of them.
max5 has 3 visible fat caps and 3 partially visible fat caps
max6 has 3 fat caps
max8, has 3 smaller caps
max10 sct 2 caps and shroud on top
max10 2 caps and no shroud, just a fan
