What is a bump start and how does it work and what are the advantages and disadvantages. I have heard the phrase a few times bnut still have no idea what it is.

Advantage is that you don't need to sit there and yank on the cord a million times to start your buggy... you set it up once to fit the frame and mate right to the flywheel... then from then on, you set it on the box, push it down and wala... it starts.
