well since no one answered my other thread i decided to make a new one. i was running my mt and noticed like a thick black gunk is leaking out of the engine right behind the flywheel. my rig is running perfectly fine and the temp is perfect so whatever it is isnt really hurting anything but I'm just curious of what it is? i think i cracked a bearing if there is one right there. and i also got another problem i broke the main dogbone and axle on the front right side but i also broke the plastic piece around it and idk what it is. i think its the hub. go to (nonworking idle screw) and look at the pics thanks

It may be some of the oil from the fuel seeping through the front bearing. This isn't entirely unusual. If it's really pouring out, you may have worn the bearing enough to cause a lot to seep. But a little bit of the used oil working it's way out isn't unusual.

oh well thats good to hear but i did start leaking just outa nowhere so I'm prolly gonna have to change out that bearing soon.1anyone wanna point me in thedirection of what to get :)

Candy beat me to it. I had an .21 OS that started doing that seaping on break in....4 gallons later when it died from dirt ingestion...still did it. So no worries unless the bearing gets bad enough to cause an air leak. If you need the bearing I look on Tower they normally have a good break down of most engines that they sell.

as for the dogbone problem, check our your instruction manual (or find it online if you don't have it). they often show how the car is put together so you can see the name of the plastic part you broke and know just what you need to order.
