Not to contradict TurboHonda, but that looks like an older Traxxas TMaxx that has some aluminum upgrades. Engine not original. Looks like a fun project.
Thanks for the correction. I meant the more modern versions. With more research, it looks like a Traxxas T-Maxx 1.5 with an aftermarket engine.

Do modern parts mount up to these older ones? And where can I find good parts
I am not completely sure, as I've never owned one, but I think some parts will be compatible. Since it is the original 1.5 platform (20+ years old), you may not be able to get exact OEM parts. eBay is a good place to look for parts for discontinued models. If you have a local hobby shop, you can look there as well. I've also found Amain Hobbies (online) to be a good place to get (new) parts.

I would first dust it off, clean and oil the air filter, replace the fuel lines, empty the gas tank (if anything's in there), replace the glow plug, and (maybe) install new servos and a new radio system, then see if it starts.

yup T-maxx .15, most current parts will fit, except for internals to the transmission, you will need .15 specific parts for that, but i would probably recommend the 2.5/3.3 grey trans if enough stuff in tehre broke, or even just as an upgrade, but you would lose your steel spur gear, and as yours looks to be Robinson Racing with the upgrade slipper dont know if i would unless neccesary.
the shock towers/body posts also changed between he models, but the ones on yours currently are completely different from both.
do bear in mind also, the new 3.3s have a long chassis, so chassis braces, i think center driveshaft, and chassis itself is different.
those XTM .18s are great engines.
side note, the 2.5 is a .15 sized engine, difference between them is stroke and bore.

I remember those trucks in the late 90's ,I had a few friends that had them ,back then ,
the little 15 engine was not really enough for them ,my friends swapped to a bigger
engine real quick as did many people that bought them ,but at that time ,a big block
was un heard of ,some had bought the OScvr 18 size engines an some people had
went with some more high performance size 16 ,17 odd ball size engines but kept
them small block ,back then ,people did what they had to do to squeeze more power
out of them ,even changing to a better tuned pipe ,those trucks were not considered
1/8 scale!
Those were also the days when the first EMaxx came out ,supporting a whopping
14.4 volt batteries that Team Novak had to clean up Traxxas's faulty ESC screw up!
My b-law had that E-Maxx back then ,it was a beast!..

It is definitely an older t maxx. It has a few aftermarket aluminum parts, shocks, chassis braces, battery box, skid plates. The wheels are rpm stablemaxx. The tires are maxx mashers. I have those same wheels and tires on one of my maxxes, however those tires are shot. The nef bars look like some type of home made mod. You really should not have a lot of trouble finding parts for it.

I'm thinking maybe tmaxx maybe smartech tmaxx clone. I say maybe clone because the blue looks off. Many causes can change the color in photos I'm aware.

I'm pretty sure most if not all tmaxx partbare interchangable within reason. I say within reason because I dont want someone saying short chassis braces and long chassis dont work.

For parts, traxxas has a tmaxx classic. 2.5r, short wheel base and black plastics.

They had a .15, 2.5, 2.5r and 3.3 maxx in short wheel base. They also have a long wheelbase 3.3

They also have exploded views on the trucks.

If the part number has a letter in one, but numbers are the same, its usually a color change and still works.
